“ We wanted to try a new pizza place and the reviews and pictures sent us to Athenas. Now, to be honest, I'm impressed. Not as greasy as I would like, but the taste of the cheese is very good, the pepperonis are big and tasty (definitely not the pepperoni a lot of other pizza places use) and the sauce was savory and not sweet like some others pizza sauces (I don't care for sweet sauce). But I am warning you now: DO NOT GET MUSHROOMS. Their mushrooms are WAY too thick and is very off putting compared to the rest of the pizza. They are literally like half an inch thick. I am a huge fan of mushrooms on pizza but I picked every single one off. But I would absolutely get Athena's again and just stick with the pepperoni or maybe fry bacon. Overall, great pizza. ”
